A Bit About Scott
MV ASKS: WHEN AND WHERE DID YOU BOTH FIRST GET SCOUTED?
We were first scouted at the Clothes Show in Birmingham. We were just walking around and someone started talking to us about being twins and if we were models. She then said if we would come round the corner and have some pictures taken!
MV ASKS: WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE THINGS ABOUT THE INDUSTRY?
SCOTT:
Meeting cool people, modelling gives you a great chance to work with some great people from all over the world with different backgrounds!
BRETT:
My favourite things about the industry are meeting and interacting with so many cool people – models, photographers, videographers, producers from all over and of course the different cultures etc sharing stories about travelling and experiences.
MV ASKS: HOW HAVE YOU BOTH USED INSTAGRAM TO BOOST YOUR IDENTITY?
SCOTT:
I’ve used Instagram to engage with more people in the fashion industry, posting my highlights as I discover cool things I do and places I discover!
BRETT:
I realised that Instagram can be a big tool for models, so I try to always have a story, upload regularly and interact posts so I can engage with as many people as I can! We also recently changed our Insta names to TwinBrett and TwinScott to help engage more people with our accounts too!
MV ASKS: DO YOU THINK THAT THERE IS A CERTAIN NICHE IN MODELLING FOR SIBLINGS?
SCOTT:
Yes for sure, I think there is a niche for siblings in modelling because you don’t have to invent that connection with someone, it’s just naturally there. For example, if I need to make Brett laugh or cry, I could just mess his hair up!
BRETT:
With twins, I can understand that it’s quite uncommon and interesting to see two people who look the same and therefore I think it looks great in some campaigns. But I also think it helps contribute to a brand’s image of “Family” and the brand’s values which can then be portrayed in campaigns. Obviously, these campaigns are very few and far between so it would be good to see more!!
MV asks: Who are your favourite designers?
SCOTT:
It changes with the seasons but Valentino for sure. I also really like Saint Laurent at the moment, I love that you can wear it as streetwear and be classy at the same time! And obviously Tom Ford!
BRETT:
I like a mix of high-end and high-street in my outfits but designer-wise, faves are, Burberry, Valentino, Tom Ford and Balenciaga, Vetements and Off-White for their streetwear! It’s so hard for me to not name hundreds!
MV ASKS: WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE EXPERIENCE WITH MODEL VILLAGE TO DATE?
SCOTT:
We both visited The Lounge at #LFW at 100 Wardour Street during Mens Fashion Week which was a great chance to meet other MVModelMembers, discover new brands, enjoy the food, play FIFA and relax with the facial treatments!
BRETT:
We stopped by Maitre Choux for a treat during fashion week – Their eclairs were insane, I could live there!
